Your therapist is just helping you out in a different way.

Everyone is beautiful? If that was true there would be no reason for the word beauty, everyone would be "average at best". Some people are more visually appealing than others (think guys from GQ and girls from Sports illustrated). Most of the people I can think of with beautiful bodies work really hard for those bodies. What everyone DOES have is redeeming qualities that make them human (intelligence, work ethic, natural talent, skill at a sport/instrument/art) and those are the things your therapist should be pushing you to focus on, not your body size. If you really are fat, medically obese or larger, most people (general society) probably are never going to find you particularly beautiful or sexually appealing but so what, that isn't the be all end all of self worth. If you go to a dr. and get a clean bill of health (no hypothyroidism, pcos, diabetes etc) then you CAN loose weight, if being heavy makes you unhappy then by all means do not accept that. Work for what you want. I have a myriad of health conditions that lead to weight gain and people would always tell me that I was beautiful/curvy/whatever at my heaviest (185) but I didnt like it so i changed my life and stay between 115-125 because it makes ME happy. A t-shirt is just a t-shirt but you should like what you see in the mirror

Well if your a woman you shouldnt need a Shirt to tell yourself your beautiful because a womans body is one of the most beautiful things this life has for humans you just need the right person to show you
