Today, the parent of a student called to ask me about a homework assignment. At the end of the call, she told me that I seem to be losing my "Asian accent" from when she first talked to me in the summer. I was born in the US, grew up in NJ and speak perfect English. FML

You should have asked her when did she lose her manners and respect for others.

I work in a nail salon and I constantly get many reactions from speaking perfect English. "Wow, your English is so good!" Considering I was born here.. I don't see why it wouldn't be.. And I speak English more proper than half of my clients. Not everyone that's oriental has a foreign accent.

New Jersey should be considered asian with all the yellow and orange people running around.

Clearly you don't speak perfect English..

No, you do not speak perfect English. That's what England speak, not New Jersey.

ask when did she get her redneck accent
