Today, my ex got dumped by his girlfriend. Seeing my opportunity, I sent him a song I'd written for him, about how much I still love him. He sent it on to the girl who had just dumped him, claiming he had written it. They're now back together. FML

Taylor Swift doesn't write songs about guys that like her that she doesn't like back and how they'll never be together. Sometimes she writes songs about a cheating boyfriend, or a failing relationship, or a working relationship, or a relationship she doesn't have but wants, or maybe not about a relationship at all! She isn't a jerk like who OP mentioned that uses someone's feelings and grinds them into dust for her own profit. She just goes by experience. OP's crush is a manipulative, inconsiderate jerk. Taylor Swift, no matter your opinion on her, is not. It's great that you have an opinion, but please buy listen to the actual lyrics of her songs before just going along with what everyone else says about her. Now about OP... yeah, (s)he's just a douche.
