A very, very loud plastic "instrument" that is so irritating, it makes you want to claw your own ears off and eat them just so the insistent buzzing that emanates from the cursed thing. Also, if you've watched soccer in South Africa or South Africa playing against somebody, with the sound on, you could usually hear the buzzing of them in the background.
