Today, the windows on my car were frozen. I filled up a bucket of hot water, and threw it on the windows. The windows cracked. FML

#8 - It's the sudden temperature change that caused the cracks, not the heat. Glass is made in extremely hot temperatures, so withstanding any heat that the OP could have caused is not an issue. OP, when you suddenly and drastically change the temperature of the glass, cracking is inevitable. This is why it's also a good idea to rinse glasses with hot water before putting boiling liquids in them.

Just because France had to give Germany money has nothing to do with Germany taking over France. So how about you get some common sense instead of living off of what textbooks say!

Of course.....in order to learn about history you don't have to read books, you just have to use "common sense"......and what?.....imagine what happened? My comment about the ECCS Treaty was ment to prove that France was never under German domination. Firstly, France didn't "have to" give money to Germany! France CHOSE to sign the Treaty ( a treaty created exclusively for economical purposes) and give the money to Germany. In order to sign the ECCS Treaty, France had to be an independent state (the first lines of the document states that the countries that have agreed to sign are sovereign) - which means it couldn't have been under German domination. Had France been under German domination, there would have been no need for a treaty - the Germans would have just taken what they needed. Also, it is common sense that, during war, a state uses the resources available in the territories they are dominating before using their own. So, had Germany taken over France, at the end of the war France would have been in an even worse condition than Germany. This, however, wasn't the case, since France had enough EXTRA money to lend their former enemy. Bottom of line: Germany did NOT take over France in the WWII.....Just because a country manages to take over a small part of one of their enemies' territories does NOT mean said enemy is under their domination.

wow, I think u should go back to grade 5 science and watch a Bill Nye the science guy video

You're a moron. If you live in a cold area you should always have plenty of deicer on you. And if you have to use water, make it cold water. Duh.

Ahaha you didnt know that glass cracks when its temperature is immediately dropped/risen? xD Cold Water next time!!! :P
