Today, there was a snowstorm in Denmark. I had a job interview, but because of the weather, the buses were delayed, and I had to wait more than an hour in the freezing cold. When I finally got there, I was told the person I was supposed to talk to hadn't been able to make it in today. FML

This illustration is a Hamlet reference for those who don't get it. We're reading it in my English class right now, so this was perfect. xD Really suckish situation, though... Those saying that you should have called in probably didn't consider that maybe the phones were down or that you did call but just weren't told that the guy hadn't made it in.
