i know man, it sucks you wasted the other cup cakes but hey, at least you got some back!
He has every right to say no. It isn't mean, that's the way these things work. By the act of asking someone, you give them a right to say yes or no. Being vindictive if they say no just shows how shallow you are. Coming up with excuses, saying "He (or she) is not good enough" is ridiculous. They said no. Get over it and try again. Especially if you're young enough to be asking someone to a school function.
Exactly. That's why the nice guys finish last is a stupid excuse for boys to treat girls like shit
@28, he has every right to say no, but a decent guy would have done so by politely refusing the cupcakes as well as the offer. I mean, imagine buying a guy tickets to his favourite band's concert as a way of asking him out, and he just takes the tickets and goes to see them himself but declines to go out with you. It's a dick move.
thats mighty clever on both sides at least you had food to comfort you after hahaha
164, based on your picture it doesn't look like you are one to talk.. You hypocritical waste of space.
Considering stabs title is "mister" also kind of hints that's not him..
#29 Really the rudest and most embarrassing way? So if he had thrown the cupcakes at her, that would be less rude. Or if he had just dropped them all on the ground, that would have been less embarrassing? Just learn to take the no, however it comes, and move on.
to #23, he does have the right to say no, but he should have done it differently. what an ass, i'm sorry.
What an ass? Are you kidding? That's a really good, clever way to do it. Not rude, but very clear for both sides.
#29 - As I mentioned before, it -isn't- the rudest and most embarrassing way possible. Sure its not the best, but I can think of at least a dozen things he could have done that would be worse.
#32 This girl is obviously in High School, and by posting it here indicates that it bothered her. So tell me a way he could have said no that would not have bothered her.
+1, I was thinking just about this. If he just came to her and said "no, I won't go to turnabout with you", it would have made her sad right like this situation with cakes.

at least he was thoughtful enough to reject you in a (kinda) creative way
