Today, to ask a boy I really liked to my school's turnabout dance, I gave him a box full of 10 cupcakes that spelled out T-U-R-N-A-B-O-U-T-?. The boy gave the box back a little later. There were two cupcakes left inside. It said N-O. FML

Today, my boyfriend said he felt like eating icing. So I baked him cupcakes, put icing on them and decorated them. When I handed them to him, he picked off the decoration, licked the icing and handed the cupcake back to me, saying, "I told you that's all I wanted." FML

Today, I decided to ask my friend to the school dance, which is one where the girls ask the guys. I spent hours placing signs down his street so he would see them on his way home. As I was waiting in his driveway with balloons, I saw his car reverse and go in the opposite direction. FML

Today, my boyfriend asked me out to dinner, which we never do. While at the restaurant he gets down on his knees, looks me in the eyes, and pulls out a little box. He opens it and inside is a note that says 'We're Done.' He then leaves me at the restaurant with the bill and the $2.00 box. FML

He's awesome. You were rejected in an awesome or at least cunning manner. Therefore, I disagree that your life sucks. :o I hardly understand why people are calling him a jerk... would it have been worse to just been told no? Maybe he was already going out with someone. Is he a jerk because he ate the cupcakes? He could have eaten them all and just said no, but instead he responded in the medium in which he was asked. Is he a jerk for not giving a reason? Again, he responded in the medium in which he was asked - if you wanted your "no" with some reason backing it, a better medium should have been persued. Or maybe is he a jerk because he rejected you? Anyone who thinks that should track me down and devote their life to improving my own in any way they can, from giving me all extra earnings to generally making me feel good about myself. Anyone who qualifies but doesn't do this is totally a jerk for rejecting me. I feel heartbroken :(
