The fact that her ex has semi-nude pictures of her doesn't make her a ****. Her ex is the bastard for using them like that. FYL, OP.
Isn't that illegal? If you're being harassed by a bunch of strangers now, I'd definitely contact a lawyer and sue your asshole ex for defamation and pain & suffering. That's awful of him to do that, especially giving out your home address! I mean that's beyond childish revenge, that's downright putting you in danger. And it's not like a phone number where you can just change it (without having to move anyway). Man that sucks... seriously, ask a lawyer if there's anything you can do.
How the hell is she a ****, for trusting her OWN boyfriend with nude photos of her? It was a completely jackass thing to do on his part, she was a victim. Go to hell, those of you who think she's being a *****. How is it that so many people are against women and their sexuality? Grow the hell up, this isnt the nineteenth century anymore.
I agree! I found the "YDI for posing nude, ****" particularly offensive. Sexists are so immature - they're living in a sandbox. Hopefully they're a dying breed, though. They won't be able to procreate because no woman will want them.
YDI for having a phone.
*facepalm*
I lol'd.
A few more issues: -If she gave the photos to him, she also implicitly gave him the rights to distribute the photos. He could put them all over the net without any fear of the law. - That being said, posing as her on Craigslist is illegal. And lastly, we are only getting one side of the story here. Who knows what OP could have done to make the boyfriend want revenge. He probably had reasons himself.
"If she gave the photos to him, she also implicitly gave him the rights to distribute the photos. He could put them all over the net without any fear of the law." Untrue, you only give away rights over photos of yourself by signing a release agreement. The photos being posted still makes him a criminal since he didn't have her signed release agreement. Ever noticed that when you submit photos to some site, it always has small print saying that "by clicking/uploading to their site, you agree that you are the rightful copyright owner and" yadda-yadda-yadda? It's the legalese to cover themselves. Something the boyfriend didn't have, obviously... so he is in trouble. He submitted it as his own when it was not so.
If he took the photos, he is the rightful copyright owner. She doesn't say she gave him the photos, she just said they were of her.
Report him to the police and contact Craig's List to get his IP address given to the police for harassment. He crossed into the criminal world by this action. You may want to change your number. Phone company will do it for free if its because of harassment or stalking by an ex. I had to do that when my roommate moved out one weekend I was gone. She had every a$$hole she knew call me and harass me because I didn't want to renew the lease we had coming up 6 months in the future. We were just "roommates" and I found the girl I would marry. Fortunately her friends were too scared to come face to face with me and just called. Good Luck and kick his a$$ if you ever run into him again.
Your boyfriend is an ass, and it's good that you broke up with him.
What he did is actually illegal in the good old USA. Report him! He can be arrested and it IS a felony!
I second this.
can I get the link to that ad?

Couldn't you sue him, or something? He signed up as you...isn't that kind of fraud?
Wow, you guys are jerks. Clearly, a couple should never get intimate, or see each other naked, or know secrets about each other, right? In fact, they probably shouldn't be allowed to know each other's phone number or where they live until marriage...just to be safe, maybe they shouldn't be allowed to know what the other looks like, either. Jeez.
