You're dumb. The movie was worse than the book. The book has no originality, terrible characters . . . /terrible characters/, no meaning, and so on. Sure, it's all right to read if you're looking for something that won't be intellectually challenging but overall, the book and the movie have absolutely nothing over Harry Potter, Inception, or even Toy Story. Absolutely nothing. And yes, you're right. The vampires, the cheesy lines? Those are in the books too. In fact, hey, did you realize? The movie was based off the book! No way! And the vampires? They're supposed to be blood-sucking, terrible, fear-inducing creatures. Not romantic, "vegetarian", able-to-walk-in-the-sun people.

Umm, okay, realize that Inception, Toy Story, and Harry Potter are also all YOUR generation. Complaining about one bad thing from your time winning awards over three awesome things from your time doesn't really prove your point.
