Today, we had a lockdown in our school for 2 hours because a man was sitting outside our school in his car with a gun in hand. I texted my mom telling her what was going on and that it's on the news. She responded saying "I'll tape it". FML

Today, at school, I got stuck in the elevator and was about to panic before I remembered I had my phone. I called my mother and she called the school to tell them that I was stuck. They got me out in a few minutes and then confiscated my phone and gave me two detentions for using it in school. FML

Today, since I had no lessons until 1 p.m., I headed out to the store to run errands. Our school has a strict policy against leaving the campus during school hours. I returned to a fire drill taking place. The fire assembly point? The student parking lot. All 900 students watched me drive in. FML

Today, my dad described our security cameras recording a stranger stealing money from his car, and then called me unhealthy and paranoid for locking my car all the time. My car is usually parked right next to his. FML

Today, I told my dad I couldn't make the trip to see him this weekend because I had to work. I surprised him by driving ten hours, and while he was out, I let myself in with my key and hid behind the couch for when he came in. He walked in. I jumped out. I then had to call 911. FML

Today, there was a forest fire in my town. I was still forced to go to school, as it was safer. A lot of people decided not to go, and we ended up doing nothing but watching the news reports. There, I got to see my house burning on live TV. FML

DHD come on just because Columbine happened 10 years ago doesn't mean that Colorado is the place where all the school shootings happen. But, really just some guy is outside of school with a gun? he was probably a parent or waiting for someone and probably had a permit. It is way more likely that a student will go into a school and shoot people than some random guy off the street. No offense, to this guy but how is this an FML? Seriously this guy was the one texting during a lockdown. Probably a bad idea.

This reminds me of a friend of mine not long ago. This is going to start a lot of internet arguments but oh well. About two months ago I went to my brothers graduation from the Marines boot camp at Parris Island and I invited a friend who lives nearby to come along. That friend of mine is muslim by religion. Ok muslim on United States military training facility. Big Whoop right? WRONG he brought his handgun that he kept in his glovebox, (which he has a permit for) What do you think of when you read this? A muslim at boot camp with a gun..... haha he had no intentions of using it but its pretty dumb of him. And thats all I gots to say about that.
