Today, we were visiting my great-grandma, who has Alzheimer’s. We spent most of the day with her and she didn't know who we all were. Time came for us to leave so when I gave her a hug good-bye, she whispered into my ear, "You're my type." FML

Well at least you are, in fact, somebody's type after all.

...On the bright side, at least she didn't try to kill you, you know? (AWW YEAH, I'd tap that)

That's quite disturbing. I would probably have nightmares if my grandma (who also has Alzheimer) would say that to me.

i thought that was cute, and in no way disturbeing, she dosnt rememebr who you are... but of course iv been working with people like her for 2 and half years soo.....

Say TMI but that sucks, sry

Think of it this way, at least you know you're loved right? But still it's a shame her memory is going.

I'm really sorry that she can't remember who you are. :/ But that's not so bad. When my grandpa had Alzheimer's, he thought I was a Japanese spy who was trying to poison him. He tried to pinch me and called me a homosexual. :P

I don't think this is an FML :x I mean, yes, if you are close to her it is because of the disease, but what she said is hardly an FML, she wasn't aware of what she was saying, she probably didn't remember it a few minutes later :x So FHL for being sick like that, not yours.
