Today, while at the airport with a cast on my leg, I fell backwards onto my suitcase. My family was too busy to notice my squirming as I tried to get up, so a kind woman awkwardly helped me off the ground. Later on, I found out my dad saw me but thought someone would help me "soon enough." FML

When your dad becomes old and frail, and if he should fall down and injure himself, you can rest assured that you have no obligation to help him as someone else probably will help him "soon enough" ...

what a nice and caring family you have

@19: what an off-topic comment you have

My God, so many people here have shite parents. It's your bloody kid. Help him up!

1. Your dad is a dick. Sorry about that, op. 2. You didn't holla fa hep?

What did you get him on fatherfather's day, reaction might be a function of the gift you got him on father's day, sorry OP.

At least that woman is compassionate to help you out, unlike your "Family".

just reasure him family is not set in stone by blood it is what we make of it and who we declare family is our choosing. family is chosen not given by force. you will one day find your own who will share the respect one another deserves.

I guess someone has a guilt trip up their sleeve. Hopefully one you can use.

I hate it when I tap YDI accidentally with no way to reverse it. Also, why would people think this is a YDI situation? 740+ YDI seems excessive.
