#24 Why Are you ashamed of being Asian? Asians are awesome and an intergral part of the US. Its people like him that make me ashamed to be white. Although I have had my fair share of condenscendingness (is that a word?) when asian people talk to me because they are generally quite intelligent and don't think that it's possible for a white person like me to be intelligent. On the + side though they never speak in broken mandarin with me. I agree with everyone who says that speaking in a broken version of a language makes it harder to understand, but it is allways easier for me to understand mandarin if it is slowed down.
