Today, while at work I tripped and fell in the pool while moving a waste basket. I nearly drowned and had to be saved. I don't know which is worse the fact that I nearly drowned or the fact that I'm a lifeguard. FML

If you knew you couldn't swim then why are you a lifeguard?

mm, I think they kinda go hand in hand here.

You almost drowned because you couldn't swim yet you're a lifeguard then YDI. But if you nearly drowned becasue you hurt yourself.. in a bad situation then FYL because you wern't in a good situation to swin back to edge. You didn't specify so... I dunno what to say.

YDI for being at work. YDI for working at a pool. YDI for moving a wastebasket. YDI for tripping; hallucinogens are not a joke! Shrooms, LSD, et al are very dangerous, especially near the water!

Nope. I'm calling shenanigans. This just couldn't realistically happen. FYL for posting something make believe.

Actually you would have to combine those two facts together to get the worst. YDI for being a lifeguard that can't swim. Where do you work so I know never to go there?

Did you hit your head when you tripped and got knocked unconscious? I can't imagine a lifeguard not being able to swim! If you are a shit swimmer, you need to find another job. Cause it could cost a person their life.
