Today, while driving during rush hour, I was singing so loudly that some jackass in the car next to me felt he should get my attention by throwing a wadded-up McDonald's bag through my open window, hitting me in the face with it, and telling me to shut up. FML
I agree, your life sucks 28 374
You deserved it 50 548

Same thing different taste

I hope you checked for bag fries! There are always a few that escape to the bottom of the bag. They're like a little gift at the end of your meal. Just when you think you're done and there's nothing left to enjoy... POOF! Bag fries!

Am i the only one that thinks this was a bit overkill? I think it's hilarious when people sing and dance in their cars. Maybe he doesn't have a/c and needed the windows down. And so what if it was down anyway? Maybe he likes fresh air? You are all seriously way too uptight. You should be turning up Your own music and singing too. Sheesh!

It's hard to relax and not be so uptight when you're sitting in rush hour traffic, though. And I must say, if the other driver had their windows up and could still hear OP, that's just plain obnoxious. I know the FML doesn't state one way or the other though.

Somehow, I'd think the FML from the other driver's point of view would be much more of an "I agree, your life sucks," as compared to the OP's "you deserved it."

People on here act like they've never gotten caught up in the moment and sang out loud. I do it all the time. I can understand it would be annoying if it was done at a library or restaurant but come on-- it's in the OP's car. Also American Idol rejects are funny as hell for a reason. "They rally round tha family! With a pocket full of shells" (This is what I'll be singing on my way to work today!) Maybe I'll get hit with a free egg McMuffin! (:

I sing out loud, but not so obnoxiously loud or poorly that passing strangers hurl objects at my head, in hopes that the distraction will stop the singing and end their suffering.

Even if you are a wonderful singer, you should not be singing, with the windows down, for the whole world to hear. If you want someone to hear you sing, hold a concert or go to karaoke. Next time you wanna sing your heart out, roll up the window. Sorry OP but YDI

Signing in a car is not half as obnoxious as those teen girls who belt out their terrible singing in malls, on the street, or at 3 am in the morning in the apartment next to mine.

At 3AM just tell them to STFU or you'll spray them with a water hose next time around.

In malls our on the street you can at least walk away. Like in your apartment, this poor soul was trapped within earshot of that torture.

Yes, I had the joy of living next door to a girl who had recently split up with her boyfriend and alternated between crying, and playing Singstar with her friends (naturally, they often sand 'I Will Survive', ugh). Most of the time, the singing was so off-key, that we couldn't tell what they were trying to sing.

The girls in the apartment are usually outside yowling like cats. But the problem is they are the landlord's kids.

On a serious note, that is technically illegal. But sounds like your singing should be too. :)

We take our music seriously up here.

No one wants to hear that crap during rush hour. Roll your windows up!

I'm going to have to take the random drivers side on this one. If you are singing loud enough to be heard from the next car then yes, I feel it is justified to throw rubbish at you. If it was Justin Bieber or someone equally crap then I'd probably shoot you!

maybe OP felt the need the to scream and shout and let it all out? i know, eeww a Brittany reference lol. No but seriously OP just sing your little heart out. I like to pretend im in a music video when driving and could care less what I look and sound like. If your singing bothered them that much they should have put up their windows and maybe blasted their own music. everyones a critic and you cant please them all.
