Today, while I was walking across a bridge, a prepubescent middle schooler grabbed my phone from my hand and threw it into the water. His friend filmed it, high-fived him, and they both ran off. I got that phone less than a week ago. FML

Today, I used the bathroom that the high school shares with elementary kids. As I was pulling my pants down, my phone fell out of my pocket into the other stall. As I was reaching for it, the little girl in the other stall took it and ran away. FML

Today, I was at the pool with two boys I babysit. The eldest wouldn't get out of the pool so I pretended to call his dad. He then ran out of the pool, pushed me down, grabbed my phone, chucked it into the pool and then ran back into the pool. FML

Today, I was at a pool party with some friends. They grabbed and lifted me in the air, about to throw me in the pool. My iPhone was in my pocket, so I screamed "MY PHONE!" They paused so I could gently throw it onto a deck chair. It bounced, hit the concrete, and cracked its screen. FML

Today, while I was out of the house, my 6 year old brother stole my new waterproof camera, dunked it into the toilet holding onto the wrist strap, and flushed repeatedly to see if it lived up to its "waterproof promise." It didn't. FML

I have to say, I'm glad that assholes like these are stupid enough to post their crimes online. They make it so easy for the police. There was a guy where I live who was planning on bombing the Capitol building and shooting people as they ran out. Thankfully he was stupid enough to post about it on Twitter and was arrested outside a local gun store. These kids need a good ass kicking. I would be livid if I found out my kid did something like this. In fact, I would be taking her to the police station myself. I'm not one to say sue them, but in this case, if OP finds out who they are, then OP should sue the parents for the cost of the phone if they refuse to reimburse OP

Try to find the clip online, but even if you don't, head over to your police station to report theft and damage of property. They can even go to the boys' school to find them. Good luck, OP, hopefully they end up having to pay for the damage

If they were filming it, it could be posted on YouTube or something somewhere. Manage to find the video and use their own stupid recording against them by showing the police. This is a really shitty situation though, I'm sorry!
