To add onto what others have said, i mean if they wrote "here's your tip, don't be a waitress" well then that highly means that she did a bad job.

I was actually one of the people that was at that table of 13, so for the people who is wondering what happened, here is the story. First of when she came over we told her that we needed 3 serperate checks and she complaind saying that it was to difficult and she couldnt do it even tho the manager said we could and just to let her kno as were ordering. next my friend ordered and open faced chili burger and even pointed to it for her and when the food came out he was brought a bacon cheese burger. Next we went 45 minutes to an hour without even seeing her and we needed drink refilled and plates taken away and wanted to order some desert. So after we complained to the manager about 5 times he finally just sent someone else to do her job for her, we saw 3 different waiters cuz she couldnt do her job. then after they do part of her job for her she finally comes over and we order desert and that took forever for her to bring out. then we had to wait about 30 minutes for her to bring the checks after we complained to the manager 2 more times. honestly i think we got treated like that cuz since we had 13 people she was gettin her tip no matter what because it was added in which is bs cuz she had other people doin her job. we would have been more then happy to give that tip to the other waiters that actually took care of us. all this after we told her that we had to try to make things as quick as possible cuz we had a show to get to after, which we had about 2 hours before we needed to leave. yeah we almost we late to the show cuz of her, not to mention it was my friends birthday. worst service ive ever had. and the manager kept trying to make other excuses for her, she paid perfectly good attention to her other tables cuz she had to earn a tip with them, she already knew she was gettin one from us. so theres what happened, still think were just a bunch of assholes?

uh, that long story. about the person claming to be one of the people from the table of 13, i really doubt is true. but nice try tho. it was a good story. but u didnt fool me. jeez, people these days.

I really don't give a shit if you believe me or not, I kno I was there and I definately have better things to do with my life then to sit around and make up fake stories. it was at bj's at the chandler mall in chandler arizona and it was my fiance who left the note for her. and the girl can comfirm if she wants. people can call me a dick or asshole all they want but sorry I don't just give my money away just to give it away, I work hard for my money and you better bet she's gonna have to work hard to if she wants a good tip. I don't have a problem with tipping well, but with service like this she didn't deserve it, hell she didn't even deserve the tip that was added into the bill, they should have given it to the other waiters that actually earned it. so believe me or not I don't care, I kno I was there.

trust me honey I know how you feel because I am also a waitress and there are people out there that you could do your damndest and they are just assholes. i have been screwed over like that before and i wasnt struggling and I didnt **** up. Waitressing is just a shit job and its the name of the game..ive been there and Im still there and I cant wait to get out.

So basically OP the lesson of the story is to become a stripper. That's where the money is at. No need to worry about tipping. And then introduce yourself to the **** industry. Problem solved. Damn I should be a guidance counselor
