Today, while looking through a stack of possible pictures for Facebook, I found one I really liked, until I noticed that I have recently developed a bald patch. Problem? I am a 22 year old woman. FML

Perhaps you should smell your shampoo to make sure no one replaced it with Nair.

I had that in high school and when I got into college they finally diagnosed me with Alopecia Areata. You should look it up, you might have that. They put me on allergy medicine to help and so far I haven't gotten one since.

See a doctor about it because i didnt know girls could go bald. It might be your shampo or the hair spray you use. I hope the hair on the bald spot will grow back :)

Actually hair loss does happen for women. While much less common, it's not unheard of.

rogain for women.........maybe ?

So does this mean your curtains will soon match the carpet?

Use the nioxin number 7 system. There's a shampoo, conditioner, and scalp treatment. I used to have bald patches as well and it fixed it really quickly. I am very confident that it will work for you. Please don't be intimidated by the price. It for real works!

do you work for nioxin? cause that sounded like an infomercial.

I agree that you should see a doctor to make sure it isn't something medical, but unfortunately, women can inherit hair loss. It's x-chromosome linked, so men only need one for it to be expressed, while women would need to x-chromosomes with the gene, which is why hair loss is less common in women.

Why should it matter that you are a 22-year-old woman that a bald patch is bad news? A bald patch is not a big friggin' party for anyone of either gender! Spray-on hair ain't exactly Silly String, sister! Good luck with your problem. Try the combover first. It cheap, all-natural, and it kinda worked for Rudy Giuliani.

A wig and some glasses and you can be the next Lady Gaga.
