Today, while on a blind date at Hooters, I ordered my food and the waitress asked me if I was stoned, because she couldn't understand me. I have a speech impediment. FML

You didnt exactly deserve that but why a blind date at Hooters??

Who goes on a blind date at hooters? If she agreed that's either a sign she's a lesbo or really kinky.

"Today, I was working my waitressing job at Hooters. I was having a lot of trouble understanding a customer. Not thinking straight, I asked if he was stoned. He had a speech impediment. FML."

Geez most of you people on here are such JERKS. He has a friggin speech problem and you all are gettin on his butt about going to Hooters. Grow up you idiots. Dude I feel for you, that waitress was obviously not the brightest crayon in the box. Im so sorry.

YDI for going on a blind date at hooters. FYL for having a speech impediment :(

I totally agree that Hooters is an awful idea for a first date. However I'm giving the OP the benefit of the doubt and voting FYL because it's possible whoever set him up arranged the place. And to say he has to "make up" for his speech impediment is like saying a chick needs to put out because she's fat-- totally ridiculous and ignorant. At least he can put together a few correct sentences, which is more than can be said for a lot of the above commenters.
