I'm one of those high-schoolers who does haunting in October...
Same, I adore it. Some of the costumers can be real douchdicks.
You made that word up!
Hah When I was younger and worked in a haunted house. I scared someone bad enough they broke my ribs.
I was trying to make a joke but couldn't come up with a punchline.
That made me laugh too hard.
Thats what happens on haunted trails.
he/ she sure regrets skipping school today
Where do they have school on Sundays?
Sunday school
I work at a haunted house and getting punched in the throat by dirtbags like you is not funny. If you can't control yourself enough to walk through a haunt without assulting someone (a minor no less) you shouldn't go to a haunt in the first place. That kid deserves an apology.
He may not have known how he'd react. Could have been his first haunted house.
I work in a haunt too and I can say this kind of thing is all too common, people need to ignore the "fight" part of fight or flight when going through a haunt. And it's not just people who are new to the experience of going through a haunt who are physical like this, I've been socked by people who recognize me from haunts I've been in in the past. If your reaction to being scared is to punch someone like you're Bruce Lee or something then maybe haunts aren't for you, it's that simple.

I wish this had more info. Was he just messing around or in the wrong place at the right time?
I would assume being on a haunted trail triggered her defensive instincts, since she was probably scared and jumpy, thereby annihilating the poor kid's throat in mere seconds.
