Can you do that,I mean it wasn't the Dad's fault that op got injured
seriously, yes that case will totally hold up in court, as if the kids father expected someone to jump on to his shed roof, he should not be liable for someone else's mistake
Doesn't matter happened on his property and it's the law. Albeit a stupid law because it also benefits burglars
Where is that "the law"?
There is no medical bills as OP lives in Canada. So you can light yourself on fire and not pay a cent to be treated =)
Nobody is thinking about if op is a minor. If he is and was at his friends house, his parents can sue because he wasn't being supervised.
not the dads fault, but still he'd win. yea i dont understand why they make the laws like that.
I know how tempting it is to take the short cut but when your in dangerous situations always second guess yourself.
That wasn't very smart. Pay for it.
That was a really stupid move.
Seems legit
Ummm YDI buddy, the guy shouldn't have to pay for your dumb ass mistake!

Well...Are you gonna pay for it?
Even Santa is more graceful than you. And he's a 750 pound man with a bunch of reindeer to pull him around to the houses.
