Today, while out for lunch, a guy approached me and asked for my number. I politely declined. To my dismay, he dropped to his knees, grabbed his head, and started moaning about how nobody ever gives him a chance. I felt the accusing stares. FML

Find someone giving you the glare and say "hey, that person over there looks like she'd give you a chance."

Maybe he studies psychology and is VERY good at what he does...

Well I'm sure if he actually introduced himself, chatted a bit, then he would've got it

He's probably one of those self-professed "nice guys" who think that treating a girl like a decent human being entitles them to her affection. I can't stand people who can't handle rejection in a dignified manner and instead become either verbally abusive or over dramatic. I sincerly hope that you did not give in and give him your number. People like him need to learn how to behave like adults and not throw temper tantrums when someone doesn't give them what they want.

You do not owe him your number. He is a dick for making a scene, and a dick for asking a stranger he hadn't said a word to for their number. Seriously. He wouldn't give his number to some random guy who asked for it, and he should expect you to. Do not bend, he is a douche.

No, because then someone else will have to deal with him calling their house.

Well damn dont feel bad about the stares just move on and ignore the prick.
