Today, while out walking with my son in a stroller, a couple passed by and the girl smiled sweetly at him. It made me really happy, until we passed and I heard her say "What? You're supposed to smile at babies, even if they look weird." FML

At least she tried. I can't work up a smile at babies because to me they are beyond weird--they look, sound, and smell hideous to me, so I wind up scowling at the ones that cross my path. Don't take it personally, OP. Some of us just aren't baby people.

Ah, totally agree! Of course I'll be cordial if I'm forced to be around one, but besides that I don't think there is anything pleasant about babies at all.

People who aren't that fond of babies think they all look weird. I mean, they are pretty lumpy and wrinkly. Besides, your baby doesn't have to be physically attractive for you to love him, so why should you care what anyone thinks of him?

my son was the most adorable thing to me until he actually got older and i looked at old pics of him and realized that he looked like an alien for the first couple of months. lmfao that statement that all babies look weird the first few months is super legit lol
