you should of let him win to boost his self-esteem
First of all it's should have not should of. Secondly, why? Handicapped people are still capable and they should be treated the same as everyone else (while of course making sure that their specific needs are still met).
That sounds retarded! Silly teacher. It ain't your fault op!
In today's society that is known as a lose lose situation, if you win you screwed over a handicapped person, and if you lose well you lost to a handicapped person therefore you "suck"...
Your teacher sounds like a bitch.
Sounds like the teacher set you up.
your were not wrong op, I have a son confined to wheelchair due to CP. even though he is only 8 it pisses him off when the other children let him win, he can see the pity in their faces and it hurts his feeling. I can't speak for all disable people but in my opinion letting someone win due to handicap is insensitive, you did the right thing as long as you play the game fairly and are not rude or mean when you win then you did nothing wrong. As far as your teacher it is extremely wrong of her/him to ask you to throw the game, try your hardest, do your best and be a good person.
That teacher doesn't realize that she's the one actually humiliating you and that student. Disregard her ridiculous comments.
The mentally handicapped person is better at badminton than I am..

Sounds like that teacher needs to reevaluate his/her own assumptions, in both ways.
How do you even cheat in badminton? /:
