Holy crap. I think I know who you are. I played near that guy.
YDI for playing that "sport"... It's a BBQ party game.. Not an athletic conpetition
It IS a real sport that plays in competitions. They said they were at school and said "teacher" so im going to assume its a gym class, so they had to play.
Society always try your hardest even if you fail. Society mentally handicapped person is involved let them win. Society if you win against them and suck at the game your a cheater
what's badminton.?
Badminton is similar to tennis, but instead of a ball they use a thing called a "birdie" or "shuttlecock" depending on how young you are when you learn the term. It's a small ball with plastic nettingish thing in a cone attached to the ball
What an asshole.
I know. I'm handicapped, and people just don't get the fact I'm still capable.
Based on my experience with the mentally handicapped, I can pretty confidently say that because the ones I've known wouldn't think twice about losing, or even know they lost, you probably didn't hurt your peer's feelings. And if your peer did get upset about losing, too bad. That's life, and unless you were targeting them, you have nothing to feel bad about.
It's good that you played the game like you should instead of babying your opponent because of their disability and losing on purpose. Hopefully your opponent appreciates it. I absolutely despise it when people treat handicapped (or anyone for stupid reasons) like a baby. I also find it very degrading when someone loses any match on purpose. My mother would always shove my diagnosis in my face and act like it was a reason to not try hard even though I told her to stop, and it just caused me to doubt myself and my abilities and think I couldn't even do things I did well until now,as weird as it sounds.
In highschool i had a friend with a prostetic arm, which i kept forgetting because it looked so real :P One time she fell, and i helped her back up. In the process i pulled off her prostetic arm and nearly shit myself cause her arm came off :D Anyways, don't let anything stop you, you see so many stories about people with mental and physical disabilities doing whatever they want, push through and you can do anything ^^
It can be really frustrating for me because I'm not exactly "normal" but it's not that obvious. I have trouble understanding what other people are telling me and I get confused easily. I don't always know how to behave or to communicate properly. I don't want to be "babied" but I wish people understood that I need extra help and guidance instead of treating me like I'm just being difficult.
that might've been the best, depends on how he was mentally handicapped

Sounds like that teacher needs to reevaluate his/her own assumptions, in both ways.
How do you even cheat in badminton? /:
