Sounds like BS to me... exploding spraycans tend to have a lot of SHRAPNEL included in their burst... How did this guy managed to get covered in spray paint without having multiple lacerations and worse?!?!?!

That's exactly what I thought. Honestly, I don't see how you could get away without some pretty nice injuries if you dropped the can right at your feet.

He said there was a large hole in the can... It could have been dented (which is why stores aren't supposed to sell dented cans) and failed right at the dent. Still YDI for leaving it in the sun... It says not to on the warning labels.

That implies the hole existed after the "explosion" and not before. Ages ago when I was a teen, my friends and I found old spray paint cans. We threw a dented spray paint can in a fire and it did just that. Not the smartest thing, but 14 year old firebugs and bonfires aren't exactly the things you leave unsupervised ;D

I bet it wasn't nearly as bad as it sounds. He probely just got some paint on him, not ALL over him. Either way you don't leave pressured cans in direct sunlight YDI.

Im a 19 year old boy that dont have anything better to do than to throw C02 bottles in fires and to shoot spray cans, they really dont blow up as good as ud think.... and ive dropped them from impressive heights, id say that maybe the ankles of his pants are blue....
