Today, while studying liver pathology and highlighting important lines in my textbook, I realized that I could count the number of words I hadn't highlighted on one hand, over the last six pages. FML

Just go on and highlight the book at this point. It's all kind of important.

I am wierd but I like to photocopy the halter or section I am reading so I can highlight it and then I go Ito the book and re read it and highlight again the important parts if what I though were the original important parts.

That's the medical profession. Everything is important. You want a challenge? Try learning about more than just one species.

Next time, skim the section/chapter, look at the review questions, look ahead to the end of chapter summary and review. Then go back and highlight the things that seem important. When I highlight things, I try to only highlight the most important parts of the sentences and ignore the rest of it. And I highlight the footnotes because those don't usually jump out at me.

Sorry but that's not good, OP. you aren't the only one since I have a college friend that did that but the point of highlighting is to get the main theme/point of each paragraph so you can do a quick reference without rereading. It's important to learn how to take notes correctly.

Has anyone ever noticed that almost every username on FML matches the FML itself?
