Today, while talking to my boyfriend, I was frantically searching for my cell phone. He was curious as to what I was doing so I told him. There was long silence followed by laughter. He could hardly breathe as he told me, "Honey you're on your phone talking to me." FML

No, I agree with Lisimal. This sort of thing happens to me all the time, too. I'd give you a few examples, but I can't seem to locate my keyboard...

my ex did this once except she went around her whole house and asked her mom if she had seen her phone. Still to this day I joke with her.

such kinds of absent minded people are my favorite. (I have different categories, you know) but it's not like it hasn't happened to me like looking for my glasses when I was wearing them and late for school cuz of it...

Its disturbing to see that so many people agree with the OP that this has happened to them atleast once.

I definitely agree. How absentminded can one be? I don't know what's worse though, people who walk around on their phone (and really how do you not notice your arm/hand right by your head) and then crying aloud that they can't find it, or the actual crying about not finding it.

LOOOL. i've done that so many times... i'll be looking for my phone, and it'll be in my hand or my pocket.

I'll do this with my sunglasses. They'll be on my head and I'll be looking around for them everywhere.

I don't see how this is really a FML... This happens to me basicaly every time I'm on the phone, which is rarely. I freaked out my friends parents after leaving a huge concert by shouting “I LOST MY PHONE!„ really loud in the car, then realised I was on the phone with my mom... So this really isn't a FML, because it happens to other people a lot...

I think it's FML because the OP basically said "Today, I realized I'm dumber than a sack of potatoes. FML"
