Hey, I'm the original poster. I think comment #78 has the right idea - I wasnt saying it in a rude way, just sort of jokingly, since the last few people had all said toasted. Was just putting theirs in the oven and getting her order at the same time.

Why is the burn victim outside the hospital in a Subway? Does the hospital not provide food for their seriously injured patients?
If you share my odd sadistic humor, this is quite a Win.
LOL #46 wow that just made me sad and lol hard at the same time. regarding the FML, this made my already made night haha. it was an honest mistake from good intentions, it's hardly his fault. just a matter of extremely bad luck/timing lol. that would've been the most awkward situation ever, especially if the other customers turned and stared as you turn red and profusely apologize.
I really don't see how this is the person's fault at all. Anyone who says you deserved that one is stupid.
you're an ass. •Pay attention to your customers •What happens when you ASS.U.ME sonething?!? ^yes, I'm aware that was lame, but I had to.
Does no one else think the "extra" toasted was a weird thing to ask? Why wouldn't you just just say, "I bet you want yours toasted?" Where is the extra comming from? That makes me think its your fault. Logically, you had no reason to say that. Patterns people patterns. Fill in the blank, toasted, toasted, toasted, toasted, toasted, _______. Any one who fills the blank with extra toasted in a dumb ass.
bad luck! hope the customer didnt complain lol or you might be out of a job?....
u might burn in hell?
Oh man, what horrible luck.

Why bother making an assy remark like that in the first place, burn victim or not? What were you thinking? >_
