Today, while working in my pharmacy, a patient told me that he sometimes wants to jump the counter and skin me alive. He has no more refills, and his doctor is out of town for the week. FML

Skin him first, then put him on display for any other would-be troublemakers.

1 - OP can't give prescriptions to patients because he's/she's not a doctor. He/she even states that the patient's doctor isn't there. Before rushing to be first, at least read the FML properly.

All that came to my mind when I read this was "Oh snap." That's awful OP, be safe.

I'm assuming that it isn't legal in your state for a pharmacist to grant an emergency refill. If so, that sucks. If it is legal and you didn't? You're an idiot.

If it was that easy, I'd head over to the Lamborghini dealer and use the same line, get me a new whip! If it works, who wants a ride?

Buy a gun, OP. Being a pharmacist is a dangerous line of work not only for the psychos who need their medicine, but also for druggies or thieves who want to steal the medicine to get their fix or sell. Be safe.

Seeing as it sounds like they are to keep him sane he can call for refill and get one even if he's out of them. It worked for me when I ordered my birth control it just went to -1 refills.

Tell him to call the county mental health department at the courthouse. They can give him an emergency refill. That's where I go for mine.

where i used to work, there was a guy like that. he needed us 2 transfer his scripts to our pharm bc he wasnt going back 2 target..we called target 2 get the scripts and they said that he couldnt come back. he was banned from the store for throwing things at the pharmacist and techs.
