Today, whilst on a date I recieved my sixth missed call from my mother. I excused myself and went outside and called her, she and my father wanted to know why I was having dinner and holding hands with another man. It turns out they were also on a date. At the same place. FML

Your parents must not have been too upset - at least they didn't barge over to your table and demand to know what was up.

YDI for being Gay. These problems can be avoided.

#322-being gay isn't a personal choice. It's just sort of happens, and there is nothing wrong with it. P.S. I'm straight so you can't call me biased

also invalid because "Remember, it's all about perspective. To you, as a heterosexual, the homosexual is the villain. To a homosexual, the heterosexual is the villain. But you wanna know who really is the villain? Neither of them, at least in my opinion." If being a heterosexual automatically makes a homosexual the villain, and vice versa, and no one is the villain to you, what does that make you? Asexual?

damn! I take it that they didn't kno ur gay! FYL! and by the way it's not about gender race profession money height weight or any of that. it's about love. love matters and that's all that SHOULD matter.

Sorry, but YDI for failure to be honest

Ok... I'm really amazed that this is still open, it's a good sign. I think I've said about all I can say on this issue, so I will bow out with a few parting words: It has been forty years since the Stonewall riots in New York City. This was the first major, notable breakthrough in gay civil rights. I urge everyone, both for and against, to reflect on how far the movement has come in these 40 years, and how far it will still go. There will never be complete agreement on this issue, but we've made it this far, so lets see how much further we can get. :)

its come too far. we need to put an end to this madness and ban it completely, not sure how this can be achieved and enforced but it must be done

Invalid comment, Feminist. You can not decide a persons gender based on the fact that they don't like what you have to say. I don't like what you have to say, and I am a woman. If I had the ability to, and I didn't find your ignorance hilarious, I would have deleted your comments to.

No matter how much you hate homosexuality, it is completely unacceptable that homophobics discriminate, torture and even murder people who have done nothing wrong and can't change who they are. It'd be the same if I ran around stabbing people in the face for not liking mashed potatoes on rye bread. And homosexuality is not a choice. If it was a choice, homophobics would've made everyone choose heterosexuality.
