Too late

Today, I was at my friend's house. It was dark and downpouring so I couldn't see as I was backing out of his driveway. I made it out, but then my phone went off, scaring me, and I accidentally hit the gas pedal, hitting his neighbor's parked car. Turns out he called to warn me to watch out for it. FML

You should have looked around your car before you got in to see what was around it. Also, if your instinct is to press down on the gas rather than release it and consider braking, you're not ready to drive alone.

Way to have the nerves of jell-o. Or a baby mouse.

That's awful...you should learn to always have your foot hovering the break pedal just in case something like this happens..

Sorry but YDI, it's too bad it happened, but as a driver you can't afford to panic because that is what causes accidents. On the bright side, this ironic story did make me chuckle :)

I bet your friend was laughing when he saw it happen.

Whats really going to blow your mind later on is, would you have still hit it if he didn't say anything about it?

And that's, again, why you become an active driver... Stop ******* driving.

Today I was looking across to my neighbor's house and I saw that careless moron jump in his car, I called my neighbour to tell him to be careful, still he reversed straight into my parked car, I think it was deliberate, he seemed to hit the gas once he was out of the drive, FML
