Today, I went to the health department to get on some birth control. I left the health department without birth control, and with the news that I'm pregnant. FML

She went get birth control from the health department... it's a clinic not a department store! You cannot get prescription birth control without first seeing a doctor and having a pregnancy test come out negative.

Birth control pills don't just start working immediately after taking them. You have to take them regularly for at least a month before they really start working.

Well, there's always the option of abortion? Shit happens, and I've always believed that every child should be WANTED. Unwanted children are a very sad thing, and it only hurts them. And with so many kids already in the system, it may be for the better to abort, if you don't want to keep it. Make the choice that's best for you, hon! Don't let anyone bully you into something you don't want. It's your body, after all!
