Too many JCS videos

Today, I discovered that when you buy ropes, duct tapes, a shovel, razor blades, a fire poker, and a carton of cigs, the police can turn up and search your house for 'prisoners'. Those items were actually coincidental. FML

that's bullshit. that is a violation of your rights. they would need a warrant and no one would sign off on one just because you bought those things unless maybe someone had been kidnapped off your street.

The police can't do shit without a warrant, OP. Suspicious purchases or not, if they didn't have a warrant, you didnt have to let them in. You can sue for that shit and get their asses fired for search and seizure without a warrant. If they had one, that's fine, but otherwise, fight it. You don't have to take that just because they're cops.
