U-turn

Today, I moved back home after unsuccessfully trying to find work in Florida, despite living there for nine months. About 45 minutes into my 18-hour drive home, a TV station called me to offer me a job interview. I applied for that job over three months ago. FML

What are you waiting for? Clearly the universe is speaking to you! Turn around and go back to take on this job!! Lucky you.

At least u have an offer now...with the way things are these days, you're lucky you got one.

being in the EXACT same situation ( seeing as you canceled rent, were low on money & expected home shortly by family & friends) ....I'm pretty sure you went home. it was just an interview, not an offer, what's done is done, I wish you luck back at home - trust me, it's for the best (fate told you what to do the last 9 months, not today)

The places hardest-hit by the economy tend to be the ones with the fewest jobs. Kansas is doing just fine! :D

Is there any guarantee of a job at "home"? Maybe borrow some money and try to ride it out. In a life span, 9 months is a relatively short time.

only an interview, not a sure fire thing

That's how FL works. Slow as....That's why it's called Flori-Duh.

So turn around! 45 minutes is not too far.

What on earth is your problem it's a freaking job interview and your 45 freaking minutes away. I would feel for you if you were 17 hours in but seriously
