Maybe the extra two stones make all the difference? Or maybe your brother doesn't care that he's fat and your constant self-loathing has manifest itself as disease. 1 stone = 14 pounds. Yikes!
then you should look at your diets. He is overweight, which has its own long-term health risk (the human heart is not rated above a certain weight...) but if your diet is crap, you smoke, drink, etc, that could make a huge difference on your immediate and long-term health. my skinny brother has always been skinny, but he smokes and his diet sucks... I am significantly larger than him, but my diet has way less fast food, better nutrition, I eat less junk, I don't smoke, rarely drink, and do a more physical job. I am 60ish lbs over recommended weight. yet I have far fewer issues. look at what you put into your body.
That first sentence hurts to read. However the rest gives the gist. Genetics are not fair. One brother gets all the good looks the other makes festering infections look like Brad Pitt. Just do the best with what you have.
My sympathies friend, but life is anything but fair. It sucks, but it's the harsh truth. Nothing, at all, in life is fair. It just is, and we just have to trudge through it.
almost like being fat doesn’t immediately equal unhealthy. it’s hard to have sympathy when you’re inherently just assuming every fat person should be unhealthy. retaining weight is a side effect of several medications and a symptom of several illnesses. stop making these stupid ass assumptions in 2023.
Proof that being thin isn't 'healthy' and people need to stop harping on it.
