You deserve it for being such a bitch. Act so, and you'll be treated accordingly.
What's with all the moderated comments? Why have so many people on FML become whiny little babies lately?
If someone honks at you, they probably have a reason. What if someone was bleeding to death in the passenger seat? I never, EVER honk unless it's a goddamn emergency. Not FYL, but FHL (**** his life). Hopefully his wife didn't have the baby in their car because of you.
Yeah because when someone's in labor, tailgate if someone isn't flooring it. Also be sure to go as slow as them to point it they're in labor. I mean c'mon it's not that hard to dial 911 and get an actual ambulance because it's legal for them to go that fast. I mean what if you had to stop suddenly and he plowed into you? Dead baby, congrats, world's greatest dad. Oh and 232 **** off, people honk for a lot of reasons not all of which are emergencies.
He should have been driving at the speed limit regarless of whether his wife was in labour or not.. because rather her truing up alive than dead.
God I am so sick of dramatic pregnant women. Stop ******* pushing the world around because you're in labor, maybe leave before the baby is halfway out? And yes, I know some women have quick labors, but from what I've seen, that isn't THAT common. Even if it was coming quick, is driving like a maniac going to help? Its just going to get you stopped or cause an accident. Its not the end of the world if she ends up giving birth in the car. No, its not a very comfortable place, but life isn't always completely perfect for your needs. Pregnant women need to realize that; not every human is going to yield for and respect and worship you because you're pregnant. And people saying she should call an ambulance, that's just ridiculous. Don't waste their time that could be used to save a car accident victim or someone having a heart attack. Women today need to grow up and realize that years ago they gave birth at home all the time, without drugs and c sections and epidurals. Yes, some did die that way, but that happens now, even with all this advanced medicine.
Seems like both a YDI and FYL. You didn't know there was a woman in labor in the car. For all you knew, there was an asshole trying to save a few minutes of driving time by being a tailgating idiot. Still, if he was being that crazy about it, I'd get out of the way because nowadays, people can get killed by road rage.
never assume things...
LOL at all the self righteous faggots saying you deserve it like they've never retaliated to aggressive driving before. Further, how the **** would OP know the wife was in labor? here's a few ways fellow driver could have made his rush more noticed. Flashing headlights waving OP is not at fault at all. Far too many impatient drivers who are total ***** about this. **** all of you saying OP deserves anything.
Keywords
that's your fault. you should never do that anyways.
Disagreed. How the hell was the OP supposed to know there was a woman giving LABOR in the backseat? Honestly, would you have pulled over, because I sure wouldn't have. 99.9% of the time, the tailgater is just being an asshole and just *can't stand* going the speed limit. This is one of the rare [and I mean RARE] times that they had a legitimate reason for being an ass. The OP was not a terrible person for going slower, just human. If you're going to say that, shouldn't you also say that the driver was a terrible person because he really did jeopardize the woman and her baby by taking his eyes off the rode and twisting around to point in the backseat? Besides, honestly the driver should've passed earlier if he was on his way to the hospital, instead of trying to tailgate the person. It takes literally one second to do so.
