Today, I decided to break up with my boyfriend. The main reason being that he doesn't value my time, and fails to see how canceling at the last minute is rude and a major inconvenience. I wanted to be respectful enough by breaking things off face to face. He cancelled, at the last minute. FML

Just dump his stupid ass over the phone OP. He's obviously not worth your time nor effort. Just send him a text, say it's over, block his number, and move on to a guy who will respect you. Good luck OP!

Well, this is one of the rare cases where it would be reasonable to break up over a phone call or text. If you're struggling so much to meet face to face with him because of his actions he deserves it. You made an effort to do it the right way and he's the one who messed it up and proved why you should break up with him.

There was an FML similar to this not to long ago. OP's gf (I think) knew he was going to break up with her so she avoided him. He finally just did it over txt, then she started going around bashing him for not being mature enough to do it to her face. (Switching genders in that story might be a thing, pregnancy brain...I don't remember lol)

Thanks, good to know lol. Not sure why I'm getting thumbs down, all I'm saying is if OP does end up breaking up via text or fb, they may too end up being called cowardly and immature by their peers.
