Today, I realized my girlfriend has way more friends than I do. How did I realize this? She called me to tell me she was at the beach with her friends, and how much fun she was having. I was playing WoW in my room, and my friends don't answer my texts. FML

Today, I took my girlfriend to meet my family for the first time. Everyone quickly pointed out how my girlfriend looks very much like my cousin. My girlfriend even agrees. That’s not what I was going off of when I first met her but now I’m having a hard time un-seeing it. FML

Yea, I agree. My ex's family treated me like crap. Called me horrible things behind my back. They kept us apart as much as possible. OP, like the fact that your family likes your girlfriend. The support of your family could help your relationship

While everyone says to be happy, I can understand why OP thinks FML. I'm very close to my family and would be hurt if they liked my SO more than me. I've been in their lives for over two decades. I would hope I'm more important to them and they will always support me and not my (temporary) partner.
