You can't expect an ordinary dental practice to find such a tiny problem. You need to go to a crack house.
If there never was a crack then what is causing the trouble?
The trouble could just be nothing eventually. The *actual* trouble, however, is that the other dentist straight-up lied about a dental issue existing, magnanimously “fixed” it, and then stole OP’s money. X-rays don’t lie.
I was having what I thought was tooth pain. It was terrible. Dentist found nothing; turns out it was a pinched nerve in my shoulder.
See if you can get your current dentist to go on record with this and file a big ole complaint with whatever professional organization oversees this sort of thing in Germany. Who knows how many people he fleeced over the years?
