Today, while talking to my girlfriend, the subject of Darth Vader came up. That's when she asked me, "Aren't Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker the same person?" I don't know what's worse, the fact that she asked me that, or the fact that I got upset over her lack of Star Wars knowledge. FML

Today, my ex purposely taught our kids to call all the Star Wars characters by Star Trek names. I’m not sure what bothers me more, the fact that she did it, or the fact that it makes me utterly insane when they say them. FML

Today, I learned that I'm expecting twins. A boy and a girl. My husband, upon finding out about this, immediately suggested that we give them Star Wars names. But not Luke and Leia. Oh no. He wants to name them Darth and Vayda. And he is absolutely serious about this. FML

I guess there's not as many girls out there like me that love Star Wars.. I thought everyone would know that Anikan Skywalker is Darth Vader, and that Luke and Lea are his children. *sigh* Maybe she's never seen the movie?

I understand a lot (and I mean A LOT) of people enjoy Star Wars but not everyone does...I, personally, don't think it's right to insult someone over not having full knowledge of something, but that's just me. I couldn't tell you the first thing about Star Wars, but I'm with someone who loves it, and I will gladly give it a chance if it means bonding time :p
