Who cares?!?!?!?
The only reason you should care is if you've been dating a while. For example, I'm a trekkie, and my boyfriend loves Star Wars. He watches Star Trek with me, and I watch Star Wars with him, and help him assemble lego X-wings. If you haven't been dating long, it's not a big deal she hasn't yet put the effort into taking an interest in things you like.
This is not the girl you are looking for *waves hand slowly*
I'd be the same but if it were a guy!!
I've been a huuuge fan of star wars ever since i was 3 and i have lots of friends that dont like star wars, now a days everyone wants flashy hollywood movies. Even though you cant convert star wars haters, take solace in the fact that you actually have enough of a brain to understand and follow a well written plot/story line and that the movies awesomeness hasnt been lost on you.
Wow, its girls like that, that make other girls like me look stupid.. STAR WARS FOREVER!!

I'd be upset, too.
My friends wife didn't know who Chewbacca was. I told him to divorce her.
