Change it to harassment, and that makes sense.
Are you sure you want to work for this guy?
Tell his wife the real reason you her son broke up is because you had an affair with dad. Then laugh last.
While unprofessional either way, it is possible he laughed because he felt awkward. Some people. Turn into soulless jackasses when put in a situation they don't feel comfortable with.
His last name is O'Doyle, isn't it. "O'Doyle rules!" *whole family drives off a cliff* Well, justice shall come soon.
What happened to asshat?
Clearly the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Sorry sweetie. I'm sure there's a much better job waiting for you somewhere else.
What an ass! He finds it amusing that his son is unfaithful and that a painful or upsetting situation is a laughing matter. It should be a source of embarrassment that he raised a son that is so disrespectful. FYL but you're probably better off not getting the job. You may have wanted the job, but the work and company are only part of your job satisfaction. I think you'll find yourself very dissatisfied if you're working for someone like this asshat. I hope you can find a similar opportunity without the personal issues. Good luck OP

Wow, that's so rude and unprofessional. Find somewhere else to work OP.
OP: "Yes and I am and I think you need to make up for your son's mis-doing by hiring me at a larger salary than advertised. I'm sure everyone here would like to find out what a low-life your son turned out to be. Let me know when I start."
