What were the chances?

Today, I had a job interview for a job I've been dying to have. As I walked into the office, the manager said, "Aren't you my son's ex, the one he cheated on?" All I could do was sit there quietly as he laughed at me. FML

Wow, that's so rude and unprofessional. Find somewhere else to work OP.

OP: "Yes and I am and I think you need to make up for your son's mis-doing by hiring me at a larger salary than advertised. I'm sure everyone here would like to find out what a low-life your son turned out to be. Let me know when I start."

I'm sure he was laughing at his son! He saw you and you were so beautiful, he laughed, and thought "my son is stupid for cheating on an angel like this". Boom.

That's stupid that he didn't even recognise your name and could be so ******* insensitive

Wow. The apple really DOESN'T fall far from the tree. Get the job, be proud of yourself and if he doesn't end up being your boss, kick someone's stupid moronic ass!

Then you said, "Aren't you his douchebag father that were one of the people who taught him cheating is okay? Yeah, I don't feel like being trained for a job by someone like that so good luck finding someone else for the job" right? I know it's your dream job or a job you really want, but you should still mention that

I'm sorry am I missing that the fact that she cheated on him? That usually makes her the bitch.... Not the son.
