Today, being the nice grandchild that I am, I went to visit my grandmother. She didn't recognise who I was. I thought she was joking. She later called the police as, "Some weirdo had walked into her house." I'm that weirdo; she wasn't joking. FML

Today, I had to cancel my plans to go see my grandma, because I wasn't feeling too well. I called her to apologize, but she had trouble remembering who I was. When I told her my name, she said "Oh, the FAT one." Yes grandma, the fat one. FML

Today, I went to see my grandmother. She has alzheimers and doesn't remember me sometimes, and today she thought I was her sister and that I was trying to steal my grandfather from her. She hit me with a cane and called me a slut. FML

Today, I decided to surprise-visit my grandparents. After knocking on the door and not getting a response, I opened it and walked in. Upon entering their house and yelling, "Hello", as I turned the corner I saw my near-deaf grandmother folding clothes while watching TV. She was topless. FML

Today, while waiting for my grandmother at the train station, a girl walked out and climbed into my car. When I cleared my throat to tell her of her mistake, she screamed and ran out as if I was a criminal trying to abduct her. FML

That's awful, my grandmother had alzheimer's and stopped being able to recognize me at one point, it broke my heart.

Don't you usually call people ahead of time before visiting? Then you can ask if they're busy and you can come over. Idk, it seems as if you're comfortable just stopping by, then they'd recognize you. That part seemed weird to me.

it's their grandma.. why wouldn't you feel comfortable just going over? i never call.. if they're home they're always happy to see me, if not then no big deal.

maybe your grandma had her memory erased because she is working for the CIA and knows something that must not fall into the hands of the Russian government... and her grandson (as played by nicolas cage) has to go go under cover to get his grandma's memory back from the CIA in order to get that secret from her and get it into the right hands and his grandma back to her old ..very old.. self, its a story of action! adventure! heart break! in this action packed adventure!
