Today, I was helping a couple come up with a name for the baby they just had. I suggested "Joshua" thinking that it was an okay name. All sudden, the room got quiet. Turns out I had forgotten that Joshua was the name of their 3 year-old son who had died a couple months before. FML

Haha, something similar happened to me once. My sister was pregnant with a girl, and when her husband asked for name suggestions, I said Lena. Turns out that was his mother's name, who had just passed away.

Anyone who says ydi is an asshole. Fyl man that sucks

Like that would be on the top of your mind when *helping* a couple figure out a name >_

Most people ask for name help from associates to get a wide range - his writing doesn't indicate he has more than casual contact with these people. He could have just been coworkers with the couple, discussing names over lunchbreaking, having never even went to their home, or met Joshua

awesome. brutal, harsh and just freaking awesome, im crying with laughter

How in the **** do you forget something that horrible? I mean what in the hell!? O_O

You're a ******* idiot. If they hate you now, you deserve it.

Why can they not name their new son after their other one in rememberance?

Obviously you don't know these people very much. So why are you helping them name their baby??

i don't believe this one. you have to be either extremely stupid to forget THAT, or lying.
