Working as a waitress, a lady with kids came in, held up a $20, and told me that if I took did a good job, she would tip me. I waited on them hand and foot. When leaving, she smiled and said "It's on the table" Walked to table, no cash,there's a note: "Here's your tip..don't be so gullible lol!" FML

not ok. that makes you look stupid and is not an ok way to treat staff. it is humiliating. I'd be tempted to ban her if she comes back

Talk to your manager- most that are worth a shit will make sure that no one gets stuck with people like that without having a good tipper to offset the loss. Some will even outright ban them for it. You could also always try to find her on social media, and make a post somewhere with her picture attached saying that you saw her do that to a waitress/waiter at the restaurant. Technically true, but makes it sound like you are a customer.
