I know there are some people that have a nasty gag reflex and don't brush their tongues as part of their tooth brushing routine. Not doing it can 'causes horrible bad breath!

Not everywhere considers it standard. I've only learned about tongue scraping as an adult. Scraping is better than brushing, doesn't make me gag.
