Today, a cute girl sitting next to me asked if she could use my phone. As I handed it to her, I attempted to use the expression, "Knock yourself out," but for a reason I can still not fathom, it came out as, "Kill yourself." FML

Players know how to throw in an occasional "neg" to make their playthings fawn all over them. They know girls don't go for guys who do nothing but flatter and agree with them. Leading off with the biggest "neg" of all is a failing strategy. Next time, go with "pretty eyes, nice smile, cute shoes, . . ., you could afford to drop ten pounds." She'll want to borrow your phone so she can put her number in it ;) Call her, maybe.
